On February 26th, the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States announced that a Southwest Airlines aircraft was forced to abort landing at Chicago Midway International Airport at around 8:50 am Central Time due to an unauthorized entry of a business plane into the runway. Currently, the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States is investigating the incident. The Southwest Airlines aircraft involved is a Boeing 737-800 aircraft that flew from Omaha, Nebraska to Chicago. After the incident, the pilot conducted a go around maneuver and landed safely. The private business aircraft involved was the Bombardier Challenger 350, flying from Chicago to Knoxville, Tennessee at the time.
