On February 23rd, local time, the Canadian Prime Minister’s Office stated that prior to the virtual meeting of the Group of Seven (G7) on the 23rd, Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau discussed the conflict in Ukraine with US President Trump. Trudeau also reported to Trump on the progress of the crackdown on fentanyl at the US Canada border, stating that fentanyl seizures at the US Canada border have decreased.
