Israeli military claims to have opened fire on dozens of Palestinians attempting to approach the buffer zone near the edge of the Gaza Strip

On February 10th, the Israeli Defense Forces announced on February 9th local time that dozens of Palestinians attempted to approach the buffer zone on the edge of the Gaza Strip in the northern part of the country. Despite warnings, the Israeli military fired upon them and hit several people, who subsequently retreated. The Israeli Defense Forces have warned Palestinians not to approach the Israeli border and the military buffer zone within Gaza.
