On February 6th, according to the website of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the 5th local time, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov stated in response to a reporter’s question that the United States should take the first step towards normalizing relations with Russia and negotiate on the basis of mutual respect and equality. Riyabkov stated that on the issue of Ukraine, considering the current “ground situation” and national interests, Russia is open to dialogue through hard bargaining. The decision and choice regarding the above issues are on the side of US President Trump and his team.
