On January 29th, Shanghai officially launched the subsidy work for household appliances, home decoration and consumer goods in 2025, providing subsidies for seven categories of products including household appliances, decoration and building materials, sanitary ware, furniture and lighting, smart homes, home aging friendly products, and home textiles. The event will start at 0:00 on January 29, 2025 and end at 24:00 on December 31, 2025. Consumers who purchase decoration and building materials, sanitary ware, furniture and lighting, smart home products, and home textiles in Shanghai will receive a subsidy of 15% of the product sales price. For household appliances with level 1 energy efficiency or water efficiency, a subsidy of 20% of the selling price per unit will be given. For products with level 2 energy efficiency or water efficiency and below, a subsidy of 15% of the selling price per unit will be given. Home aging products will receive a subsidy of 30% of the selling price per item.
