Hamas claims that 8 out of the 33 people planned to be released in the first phase of the ceasefire agreement have died

On January 28th, a Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) official stated on January 27th local time that Hamas has submitted a list to the mediator country. According to the list, of all 33 Israeli detainees planned to be released by Hamas in the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, 25 are still alive and 8 have died. Among the 25 survivors, there are 7 Israeli women who were released during the exchange of the first and second batches of detainees.
