On January 22nd, after a 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck Tainan City on the 21st, aftershocks continued to occur in many parts of Taiwan. According to the earthquake report released by the Taiwan Meteorological Department, as of 6:00 am on the 22nd, there have been five significant earthquakes that have been felt. The maximum magnitude reached 5.4, with the epicenter located in the southern waters of Taiwan and a depth of 68.6 kilometers. As of now, there have been no reports of aftershocks causing damage.
