CITIC Securities: The core link of low altitude economy, the air traffic control system, welcomes new development opportunities

On January 22, a research report by CITIC Securities pointed out that under the background of accelerated development of low altitude economy, air traffic control systems have ushered in new development opportunities. Scenarios represented by UAM require dynamic and real-time updates of urban airspace information to ensure aircraft safety and avoid no fly zones. In addition, it is necessary to couple it with ground transportation to help passengers achieve convenient transfer and intermodal transportation between air and ground. Currently, various regions have conducted numerous pilot explorations and implementations for low altitude air traffic control. Simplifying processes and applying new technologies such as Beidou and 5G communication are expected to become the development direction of low altitude air traffic control in the future. According to the policy documents of the Civil Aviation Administration of China and some benchmark cases currently implemented, the market space for low altitude air traffic control is estimated to reach 20 billion yuan by 2027. Investment advice: Considering the overall development sequence of the low altitude economy industry chain, CITIC Securities believes that short-term infrastructure and support software construction should be prioritized. As an important link in information management and security protection, the air traffic control system is expected to usher in good development opportunities.
