On January 14, according to the Sao Tome and Principe News Agency, President Nova signed a presidential decree on the 12th, appointing Americo Ramos, the current governor of the Central Bank of Sao Tome and Principe, as the new Prime Minister of the country. On January 12 local time, Ilza Amado Vass, the new Prime Minister of Sao Tome and Principe (Sao Tome and Principe), submitted his resignation to President Nova, who subsequently removed Amado Vass from his post as Prime Minister. Amado Vaz was appointed as the Prime Minister of Sao Tome and Principe by President Nova on January 9th, replacing former Prime Minister Trovada who was dismissed on January 6th.
