On January 5th, according to the National Radio and Television Administration, the 2025 National Radio and Television Work Conference was held in Beijing from January 3rd to 4th. The meeting made arrangements for the key work of broadcasting, television, and online audiovisual in 2025. This includes implementing radio, television, and online audiovisual creation projects, improving overall planning, policy measures, and institutional mechanisms, strengthening support and guidance, and promoting the formation of more high-quality products, wider dissemination, and better environments. Promote systematic reform of broadcasting and television media, consolidate and enhance broadcasting and television, vigorously promote channel frequency streamlining and optimization, and structural optimization, resolutely rectify the problem of illegal broadcasting of medical advertisements, strengthen and optimize new media in broadcasting and television, and deepen institutional and mechanism reform. Comprehensively enhance the governance capacity of the online audio-visual field, improve the management of program audio-visual content, formulate the “Micro Short Drama Management Measures”, and make efforts to promote both prosperous development and standardized management. Strengthen the construction of the regulatory system, accelerate the promotion of the Radio and Television Law, formulate and revise a number of rules and normative documents, and enhance the comprehensive governance capacity of the industry.
