On the evening of December 25th, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office announced that the Israeli delegation participating in the Gaza ceasefire and exchange of detainees agreement negotiations in Qatar will return to Israel that evening and will conduct internal deliberations and discussions with senior Israeli government officials on the details of the negotiations. The Israeli delegation arrived in Doha, Qatar on the 16th of this month to negotiate with relevant parties on the ceasefire in Gaza and the exchange of detainees. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated on the 23rd that “certain progress” has been made in the relevant negotiations. (CCTV News)
