On July 3rd local time, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced sanctions against 11 American individuals. The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement on social media stating that according to the Law on Combating Human Rights Violations and Adventure Terrorist Activities by the United States in the Region, it has determined that 11 American individuals have committed human rights violations because they have suppressed peaceful protests in support of the Palestinian people and opposed Israel’s military actions in Gaza in the United States.
