On May 11th, the 2024 Work Conference on Cooperation between the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and Shanghai Municipal Government was held in Shanghai. The meeting summarized the progress and effectiveness of cooperation between departments and cities, and studied and implemented key tasks for 2024.
At the same time, the cooperation between departments and cities has also achieved some landmark results, such as the successful holding of the “China Carbon Market Conference 2023”, the introduction of the “Shanghai Waste Free City Construction Regulations”, the establishment of a unified comprehensive supervision platform for soil pollution prevention and control throughout the city, and the pilot of climate investment and financing, setting a new benchmark for cooperation.
