Putin: Will allow Western countries to carry out joint projects with Russia in the Arctic region

On March 28th, Russian President Putin stated at the International Arctic Forum in Murmansk on March 27th that if Western countries are interested in projects in the Arctic region, Russia will allow them to carry out joint projects with Russia. Putin emphasized that Russia has never threatened any country in the Arctic region, but it is also closely monitoring the situation in the region and will not allow any actions that violate Russia’s sovereignty.
