On March 13th, the foreign ministers of Qatar, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates held a meeting in Doha, the capital of Qatar, to discuss the situation in the Gaza Strip. Representatives from the Palestine Liberation Organization attended the meeting. The meeting focused on discussing the outcomes of the emergency summit of Arab countries held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, on the 4th of this month, as well as the special meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on the Palestinian issue held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on the 7th, with the aim of further coordinating the positions of Arab countries on the Palestinian issue. The meeting also discussed specific implementation plans for raising funds for the Gaza Strip reconstruction plan. (CCTV News)
