On March 11th, David Ibby, the Governor of British Columbia, announced that all American made alcoholic beverages in the province’s liquor stores will be taken down. David Ibby stated that this move is in response to the ongoing threat from the United States to impose tariffs on Canadian goods entering the country, as well as in response to President Trump’s intention to redraw the border between Canada and the United States. David Ibby stated that he is using legislative tools to counter the upcoming imposition of steel and aluminum tariffs.
