On March 11th, the International Committee of the Red Cross issued a statement stating that the suspension of aid to the Gaza Strip, including the cessation of power supply to Gaza’s only seawater desalination facility, could further push Gaza into a serious humanitarian emergency. Affected by the suspension of aid, the Gaza Strip has experienced price increases and shortages of basic supplies.
