On March 8th, the US Department of Justice announced that a State Department employee has been arrested on suspicion of participating in a conspiracy to collect, transmit, or lose defense information. The US Department of Justice stated in a statement that the State Department employee working in Washington has the highest level of classified security clearance and can access classified level information within their department workspace.
