Poland plans to redirect approximately $7.6 billion of EU recovery funds towards defense construction

On March 5th, Polish Prime Minister Tusk announced at a press conference on March 4th that the Polish government plans to allocate 30 billion zlotys (approximately 7.6 billion US dollars) from the recovery fund allocated by the European Union to Poland, which will be used for defense construction and the military industry. In addition, Tusk stated that the government plans to pass a draft law next week to promote defense investment and simplify its approval process. (CCTV News)
