On March 1st, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, a 5.3-magnitude earthquake occurred in the eastern waters of Davao Province in the southern Philippines at around 21:59, with a depth of 10 kilometers and tremors felt in many nearby areas. The earthquake is not expected to cause any damage, but there will be aftershocks.
