On March 1st, according to the New York Post, a FedEx plane caught fire shortly after takeoff from Newark Airport in New Jersey, USA, forcing it to make an emergency landing. According to flight data, the plane landed at 8:07 am just nine minutes after takeoff. It is reported that when the Boeing 767-3S2F aircraft landed, flames were ejected from the right engine. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey stated that the sudden fire was caused by bird strikes. (CCTV News)
