US officials say talks with Ukraine are productive but significant differences still exist

On April 25th, after meeting with Ukrainian and European figures in London for several hours, the US government’s special envoy for Ukraine affairs, Kellogg, stated that he believes this round of talks on the Ukraine issue is “frank, positive, and productive”. But another senior US official stated that there are still significant differences between the US and Ukraine regarding the framework and timeline proposed by the US to end the conflict.
