On April 12th, the Israeli Defense Forces issued a statement stating that in the past day, the Israeli 36th Division had taken control of the “Morag Corridor” in the southern Gaza Strip, cutting off the connection between the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) Rafa Brigade and the Khan Younis Brigade. In the past week, the Israeli military has killed multiple Palestinian militants in the “Morag Corridor”, dismantled underground tunnels and military facilities, and completed the siege of the city of Rafa. According to reports, the Israeli 36th Division currently controls the “Morag Corridor”, while the Gaza Division is conducting operations in the “Philadelphia Corridor”. It is reported that the Israeli army will enter Rafa next to strike the remaining Hamas militants there. About two weeks ago, the Israeli military issued an evacuation warning to local civilians in Rafa.
