On April 12th, Cui Dongshu, Secretary General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, issued a statement stating that the trend of the national automobile market in March was divided, showing a trend of strong passengers and weak merchants. By the end of January 2025, a new round of subsidy policies will be implemented, and the retail sales of narrow passenger cars in February and March will ultimately exceed previous expectations. Before the release of the two new policies, the market heat was relatively low. In January, consumers were mostly in a wait-and-see and waiting state. In February and March, the market heat grew rapidly, and consumer passenger car products maintained a good consumption trend before the Spring Festival, while the commercial vehicle market showed structural growth characteristics. Last year, the inventory of commercial vehicle channels was relatively high. In March of this year, the trend of commercial vehicles was differentiated, with strong growth in the new energy categories of light trucks, micro cars, and large and medium-sized cars.
