Chinese scientists propose a new theoretical model for designing single atom catalysts

On April 3rd, it was learned from the University of Science and Technology of China that Professor Lu Junling’s team has collaborated with domestic peers to innovatively introduce cutting-edge molecular orbital theory into the design of single atom catalysts. The research team has successfully developed a single atom hydrogenation catalyst that combines high activity and stability, achieving experimental evidence and breakthrough applications of frontier molecular orbital theory in multiphase catalysis. The relevant results were published online in the international journal Nature.
