The Bangkok Disaster Prevention and Reduction Command Center in Thailand has lifted the announcement of earthquake stricken areas in Bangkok

On April 1st, the Disaster Prevention and Reduction Command Center of the Bangkok Municipal Government issued a notice at 23:20 local time on March 31st, officially lifting the announcement made by the center on March 28th regarding the designation of Bangkok as an earthquake stricken area. The announcement pointed out that after evaluation, the command center believes that the overall situation in Bangkok has stabilized, and the impact of the earthquake on the public, damage to public infrastructure, traffic conditions, and various rescue work have continued to improve. Most people’s lives have returned to normal, and the emergency command centers in each district have the ability to respond to disaster management work. Therefore, the Bangkok Disaster Prevention and Reduction Command Center has decided to lift the announcement released on the 28th.
