On March 29th, it was learned from the Chinese Red Cross that after the 7.9-magnitude earthquake in Myanmar, the Chinese Red Cross provided emergency supplies to the disaster area through the Myanmar Red Cross, including 300 tents, 2000 towels, 600 folding beds, and relief family bags that can meet the needs of 2000 affected families. The supplies were transferred and shipped from the Yunnan Red Cross Disaster Preparedness and Relief Center. The Chinese Red Cross International Rescue Team dispatched by the Chinese Red Cross, carrying equipment, has set off for Myanmar to carry out humanitarian rescue missions. The Chinese Red Cross Society will continue to monitor the disaster relief needs of Myanmar and provide humanitarian assistance as needed.
