On March 29th, it was reported that Hefei Heyi Aviation Co., Ltd. received the world’s first Civil Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operation Certificate (OC) issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China on March 28th. Citizens can purchase tickets in Hefei to experience low altitude sightseeing tourism, urban air commuting and other services. It is reported that companies holding OC can conduct commercial operations within approved areas and provide paid manned operation services. Previously, the eVTOL EH216-S operated by United Wings Airlines had obtained the world’s first “three certificates”: model qualification certificate, production license, and standard airworthiness certificate, and had completed over 60000 safe flights.
