The military government of Niger has issued a transitional charter, with a transitional period of 60 months

On March 27th, the leader of the military government and head of state of Niger, Chanani, signed a decree on March 26th local time to promulgate the transitional charter “Niger Reconstruction Charter”, granting Chanani the title of President of Niger. The transition period is determined to be 60 months from the date of promulgation, and the specific period can be flexibly determined based on the security situation, specific reconstruction requirements, and the agenda of the tripartite federation of Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso.
