On March 26th, local time, US President Trump announced on March 25th that he will investigate the use of Signal and has requested the National Security Advisor to study Signal security issues. The Signal chat investigation will not be conducted by the FBI. In addition, Trump stated that he believes National Security Advisor Waltz has made his best effort and does not need to apologize. Waltz stated that they are investigating how Goldberg entered the Signal chat group.
