Russian Investigative Committee: The organizer of the concert hall terrorist attack is an unfriendly country

On March 22, local time, spokesperson for the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Petrenko, issued a statement on the one-year anniversary of the terrorist attack on the “Krokus City” concert hall in Moscow, stating that Russian investigative and security agencies have arrested and completed investigations into 19 defendants charged with terrorist crimes in the case, and a series of individuals involved have been wanted. Petrenko stated that based on the evidence collected from the investigation, it was concluded that the terrorist attack was planned and organized by a special agency of an unfriendly country with the aim of destabilizing Russia. In order to carry out this operation, they recruited members of international terrorist organizations. On the evening of March 22, 2024, a serious terrorist attack occurred at the “Krokus City” music hall near Moscow. The incident resulted in 144 deaths and 382 injuries, making it the most serious terrorist attack on Russian soil in recent years.
