At around 3:00 pm today, the temperature at the Nanjiao Observatory surged to 28.9 ℃, setting a new high for temperatures this year. At 15:16, the temperature at Haidian Observation Station reached 30 ℃, breaking the record for the highest temperature in March at the station and also breaking the earliest 30 ℃ date record since 1959.
