China Serbia Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum held in Belgrade

Belgrade, March 20th (Xinhua) – The China Serbia Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum was held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, on the 20th.

Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Chadairi, President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Mesarovic, Minister of Economy of Serbia, and Li Ming, Chinese Ambassador to Serbia, attended and delivered speeches.

Ren Hongbin said in his speech that CCPIT is willing to work with Serbia to promote high-quality joint construction of the “the Belt and Road”, support the business communities of the two countries to tap the potential of trade and investment cooperation, and expand cooperation in emerging fields such as scientific and technological innovation, advanced manufacturing, green energy, digital economy, artificial intelligence, etc. Welcome more enterprises from Serbia to participate in the 3rd Chain Expo and jointly promote China Serbia economic and trade cooperation to a new level.

The attendees from Serbia expressed that Serbia and China are steadfast friends who have weathered storms and shared weal and woe, and bilateral economic and trade cooperation has shown strong vitality. I hope that enterprises from both countries can make good use of international platforms such as the Chain Expo, expand cooperation in emerging industries, and jointly build a safe, stable, and mutually beneficial industrial and supply chain. We look forward to more powerful Chinese enterprises investing and developing in Serbia.

This forum is jointly hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia. More than 200 representatives from trade and investment promotion agencies, business associations, and enterprises from China and Serbia participated.
