On March 10th, US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik confirmed on March 9th that President Trump’s promised policy of imposing a 25% tariff on all US imports of steel and aluminum will take effect as planned on March 12th. Lutnik also stated that the US tariffs on Canadian dairy and wood products will be imposed starting from April.
