Ignoring North Korea’s repeated warnings, the United States and South Korea insist on conducting large-scale joint military exercises, which is a dangerous provocation that pushes the confrontational situation on the Korean Peninsula to the limit, leading to accidental firing and triggering a physical conflict between the two sides. The communique stated that the North Korean side has clearly stated that it will continue to exercise strategic containment to respond positively to the United States’ continuous demonstration of force and military presence.
