On March 8th, it was reported that a US official stated that about 4000 Defense Department personnel began receiving termination notices this week. In addition, according to emails from the Personnel Management Office, 31000 civilian employees have submitted resignation applications, equivalent to 3.5% of the total number of civilian employees in the Ministry of National Defense.
