Zelensky meets with Macron to emphasize achieving lasting peace

On March 7th, Ukrainian President Zelensky posted on his official social media platform that he had a meeting with French President Macron during the European Council meeting held in Brussels, Belgium. Both sides discussed the meeting to be held on March 11th, attended by military representatives from various countries, and coordinated their positions and next steps. Zelensky stated that a truly lasting peace is possible based on the interaction between Ukraine, the entire Europe, and the United States, and that the war must end as soon as possible. In addition, Zelensky also stated that the primary measures for achieving peace were proposed at the special session of the European Council and called on partners to support them. He stated that the stability and security of the entire Europe depend on the actions of each individual.
