Both Bangladesh and China are developing countries, and Bangladesh highly values China’s development experience and admires its achievements. China’s experience provides valuable reference for developing countries like Bangladesh, “said Enayatullah Khan, founder and editor in chief of Bangladesh United News Agency, in a recent interview with Xinhua News Agency.

Over the past few decades, Enayetula has visited China multiple times and witnessed its development and changes. He said that China has made a huge leap in the utilization of renewable energy and is at the forefront of green economic development. Bangladesh is one of the countries most vulnerable to the impact of climate change, and it highly values the assistance provided by China in addressing the threat of climate change.

In recent years, Chinese films, TV shows, and games such as “Ne Zha: The Demon Boy Roars in the Sea” and “Black Myth: Wukong” have received widespread acclaim overseas. Enayetula stated that China has achieved innovation and breakthroughs in multiple fields such as animation and game production. I believe that China’s cultural derivatives will not only be welcomed by Asia, but also by more people around the world

Referring to the establishment of the “the Belt and Road” initiative in Bangladesh and the economic and trade cooperation between Bangladesh and China, Enayetula said that the two countries aim to deepen the development of a comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation, including further cooperation in economic and trade, infrastructure and other fields. Under the cooperation framework of jointly building the “the Belt and Road”, Bangladesh and China have carried out a large number of cooperation projects and made smooth progress. We look forward to China providing further support to Bangladesh in key infrastructure.

When it comes to this year’s Chinese Two Sessions, Enayetula said that he hopes to understand the priority issues of China’s economic development through the two sessions. The Bangladesh News Agency is particularly concerned about China’s foreign policy, as well as policies in agriculture, renewable energy, and disaster management, and hopes that Bangladesh can learn useful experience from them.
