The series of conferences on cultural exchange and international integration of industry and education between China and Kazakhstan were held in Kazakhstan

Astana, February 26 (Xinhua) – The series of conferences on cultural exchanges and international integration of industry and education between China and Kazakhstan were held from the 24th to the 25th in Astana and Almaty, Kazakhstan. During this period, the second joint construction between Chinese and Kazakh universities, the “Jingshi School” in Harbin, was officially unveiled.

During the meeting, many Chinese universities and colleges organized by the Chinese Ministry of Education’s Chinese Foreign People to People Exchange Center went to the sea to have in-depth exchanges with Kazakhstan’s universities and colleges, such as the Kazakhstan International University of Engineering and Technology and Astana University of Information Technology, on the theme of “integration of industry and education and people to people exchanges” between China and Kazakhstan under the framework of the joint construction of the “the Belt and Road”. During the event, following the establishment of the “Jingshi School” at Kazakhstan Atyrau University of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Nanjing Vocational College of Science and Technology and Jilin Electronic Information Vocational and Technical College respectively signed an agreement to jointly build the “Jingshi School” with Kazakhstan International University of Engineering and Technology.

Salsenbekova, President of Harbin International University of Engineering and Technology, stated at the meeting that cooperation in the field of education and technology will become a powerful driving force for the development of Kazakhstan China relations. Kazakhstan maintains an open attitude towards educational cooperation between universities of the two countries.

The President of Astana University of Information Technology, Hikmetov, expressed gratitude to Chinese universities for their efforts in the construction of the “Jingshi School” project, believing that the project not only promotes the development of education and innovation, but also builds a bridge for knowledge and technology exchange.

Yu Changxue, Director of the Center for Chinese and Foreign People to People and Cultural Exchanges of the Ministry of Education, delivered a speech, saying that the “People to People and Cultural Exchanges and WTO Project” focuses on professional fields such as communication and information technology, intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence and new energy application technology, takes professional construction and talent cultivation as the core, carries out international cooperation among colleges and universities, realizes collaborative cultivation of industry and education integration through the “school school enterprise” model, promotes vocational education to go global, serves the “the Belt and Road” talent cultivation, and promotes Chinese and foreign people to people exchanges.

The series of conferences on cultural exchange and international integration of industry and education between China and Kazakhstan attracted over 200 participants, including government representatives, university teachers and students, and representatives from the business community.
