On February 19th, US President Trump stated on the 18th local time that Venezuela may not be allowed to export oil through Chevron Corporation. On October 1, 2024, the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Treasury Department automatically renewed Chevron Corporation’s operating license in Venezuela until April 2025.
