Bank of America survey: Global funds turn bullish on Chinese international investors, with confidence in Hong Kong stocks on par with Nasdaq

On February 19th, a monthly survey by Bank of America Securities showed that global funds’ confidence in the Hong Kong stock market has significantly increased and reached the same level as the Nasdaq Composite Index. Strategist Michael Hartnett and others stated in a report on Tuesday that 18% of respondents predicted in the February survey that the Hang Seng Index would perform the best globally in 2025, tied with the Nasdaq for second place. 22% of respondents chose the EuroStoxx 50 index, ranking first, marking the first time since the issue first emerged in November that the Hang Seng Index has entered the top three.
