The United States has promised to closely consult with South Korea on the complete denuclearization of North Korea. In addition, the foreign ministers of the two countries also discussed issues such as Trump’s proposal to impose tariffs on countries with trade surpluses with the United States. The foreign ministers of the two countries have unanimously decided to actively cooperate in energy, cutting-edge technologies, and other fields such as atomic energy and liquefied natural gas.
