On February 15th, local time, after the election of the 38th African Union Summit, Mahamoud Ali Youssouf was elected as the new Chairperson of the African Union Commission. Mahmoud Ali Yusuf, aged 59, has been serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Djibouti since 2005.
