Mexican President sends letter to Trump reiterating that imposing steel and aluminum tariffs on Mexico is detrimental to US interests

On February 15th, Mexican President Simbaum announced on February 14th local time that he had sent a letter to US President Trump, stating that the letter included a chart of trade surplus data between the United States and Mexico in steel and aluminum, indicating that the United States is in a surplus position with Mexico, and therefore imposing a 25% tariff on Mexican steel and aluminum is not in the interest of the United States.
