On February 14th, US Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy posted on social media X that he has requested the Boeing CEO to come to Washington D.C. as soon as possible to “fully explain the measures taken by the company to address quality and safety issues. Duffy stated that he will travel to Boeing to personally evaluate the measures being implemented to ensure that the company’s aircraft meet the highest safety standards.
