From February 10th to 13th, a delegation consisting of more than 30 well-known Chinese enterprises went to Astana and Almaty to participate in activities such as the China Kazakhstan Entrepreneurs Economic and Trade Fair. Chinese and Kazakh politicians and business leaders have had in-depth exchanges to explore the development potential of key cooperation areas such as oil and gas trade, clean energy, and e-commerce.

Batalov said that Kazakhstan is a trustworthy partner and an important participant in the “the Belt and Road” initiative. Kazakhstan attaches great importance to long-term cooperation with China in the field of economy, trade and investment. Practical cooperation between Kazakhstan and China is based on equality, mutual trust and common prosperity. Currently, China is Kazakhstan’s largest trading partner and top five source of investment. China actively invests in transportation and logistics, manufacturing, agriculture, e-commerce, artificial intelligence, and renewable energy in Kazakhstan, and the direction of cooperation is in line with the global trend of sustainable development.

According to Batalov, Atameken was founded in 2013, which not only helps Kazakh enterprises enter the international market, but also creates a more fair and convenient business environment for foreign investors to invest in Kazakhstan, playing a unique role in promoting foreign trade and stimulating economic vitality.

Batalov emphasized that Kazakhstan’s advantageous geographical location and interconnected transportation infrastructure are the cornerstone for promoting stable and far-reaching economic and trade cooperation between China and Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is willing to provide support for the development of transit corridors and channel construction. In addition, the agricultural sector is also an important direction for cooperation between Kazakhstan and China. Kazakhstan welcomes Chinese agricultural and livestock machinery and equipment manufacturers to establish factories and develop businesses in Kazakhstan.

Batalov also stated that Atameken, as the organizer of Harbin Enterprises participating in the second Chain Expo, has gained a lot and will actively organize enterprises and local governments to participate in the third Chain Expo.
