The working group of the third level emergency response and emergency management department for geological disasters went to the landslide site in Yunlian County, Sichuan Province to guide and rescue efforts

On February 8th, at around 11:50 am, a landslide occurred in Jinping Village, Muai Town, Junlian County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province, burying several houses and trapping people. After receiving the report, the Emergency Management Department made a video call to the Sichuan Provincial Emergency Management Department, the Fire Rescue Brigade, and the on-site commander, requesting a quick investigation of the disaster situation, mobilizing professional forces and equipment to carry out investigation and rescue, and strengthening on-site monitoring and control to ensure rescue safety. After dispatch, the working group rushed to the scene to guide the rescue and disposal. The Emergency Management Department has initiated a Level 3 emergency response for geological disasters, and the National Disaster Prevention, Reduction, and Relief Commission has initiated a Level 4 national emergency response for disaster relief.
