US President Trump meets with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba to discuss strengthening cooperation between the two sides

On February 8th, US President Trump met with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba on February 7th local time. After the meeting, the leaders of the two countries held a joint press conference. Trump stated that the United States will work closely with Japan. Trump said that Japan will soon start importing new liquefied natural gas from the United States. In addition, Trump stated that Nippon Steel is considering significant investments in American steel companies.
