Earlier that day, it was reported that the White House instructed the US Department of Defense to lift restrictions on supplying 2000 pounds (approximately 907 kilograms) of bombs to Israel. An Israeli official stated that the Israeli government received notification from the US Department of Defense on the 24th that 1800 MK-84 bombs (each weighing 2000 pounds) from the US will be loaded onto ships and transported to Israel in the coming days.
