On January 25th, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a statement stating that it has received a list of 200 Palestinians to be released by Israel on the same day, of which 70 will be sent to other areas and the remaining will be sent to the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. The ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip came into effect on the 19th of this month, and Israel and Hamas began exchanging detainees.
